X-Mouse Button Control is a very interesting tool which adds many more features to the buttons of your mouse, so you can get a lot more out of it and have faster access to each function.

With X-Mouse Button Control you can create a small map of applications associated with each button. Among all the actions you perform it includes: copy, cut and paste text from one application to another, raise / lower system volume, control the media player you have, configure sequences and custom key combinations, open email, launch a specific application, take screenshots (or of the active window) and save them to the clipboard, restore the position of desktop icons, etc.
